About

This is Sheila Simmons’s weblog — mostly about quilting.

I made my first patchwork quilt in 2005 and have enjoyed learning more techniques with each project I do. I’ve learned most of my quilting skills from my Mom, and from following the examples of the wonderful quilting done by my Grandma.

One of the best things about being a quilter is meeting other quilters. It’s easy to be inspired and learn from the generosity and talent of the quilters I’ve been lucky to meet. Quilters make great friends!

I live in Seattle, Washington with my husband and kitty-cat.
